Pressdown has no account and no content upload. Your newsletter stays on your device. The site does use Google Analytics to measure anonymous usage — this page explains exactly what that means.
Every issue, brand preset and reusable block lives in your browser's IndexedDB, on this device only. Your logo is stored as base64 inside that same local database — it is never hosted anywhere. None of your writing, drafts or brand assets are ever sent to us or anyone else. Closing the tab does not lose anything; clearing your browser's site data does.
Two things, and nothing else. First, what you deliberately copy: when you click Copy HTML or Copy plain text, that content goes to your system clipboard so you can paste it into your email platform — we never transmit it. Second, anonymous usage analytics, described next.
The site can load Google Analytics 4, but only after you accept the consent banner shown on your first visit — decline it and no analytics script or cookie is ever loaded. When accepted, GA4 collects standard, aggregate usage data — page views, approximate location derived from IP (the IP itself is not retained by us), and device/browser type — and sets analytics cookies, used only to understand how Pressdown is used so it can be improved. It never has access to your newsletter content; that data lives only in your browser and is never read by the analytics script. To revoke a previous "Accept", clear this site's data (the button below does that), or block it with a tracker blocker, your browser's privacy settings, or Google's opt-out add-on.
Your newsletter content is never processed off your device, so for that there is no data controller to contact — you hold all of it, and the button below performs a complete, irreversible local erasure. For analytics, Artivicolab is the data controller and Google acts as a processor; you may request access or erasure of analytics data, or opt out as described above, by contacting us.
This permanently removes every issue, brand and block from this browser. It cannot be undone.
